Anonymous said: Let me start off by saying your art is amazing and I seriously love all of it! I was wondering what tools you're using when you're drawing in photoshop?
I primarily use the pencil tool and the eraser, the paint bucket, and the gradient tool (extension of paint bucket). This is all done using a cheap bamboo tablet.
Someday, I aspire to get ahold of a fancy Cintique. Not at all necessary to make art (yet somehow everyone fucking has one) but it sure would be nice.
Anonymous said: Hello! Where do you do your line work before you color it? do you scan it? or do u draw it digitally? and what size in photoshop do you make it?
I do line work on my desk :) with a pen and paper, then I scan. I scan at 1200dpi then scale it down to 600dpi in photoshop to save space. It’s only necessary to scan at high resolution so you capture all the detail, then you can literally shrink it down when coloring; this will help reduce lag if you have a sub-par computer like me. Hope that helps!
